The Snows sales and production operation at Andover covers the demanding markets of London and the south east of England, despatching regular loads into the capital daily. The seven-acre Andover site was originally developed in the 1960s when the Andover Timber Company moved out to a site two miles out of town.
Andover Timber was later acquired by the BTR conglomerate and absorbed into their F J Reeves & Son timber business. The Andover site was eventually acquired by Snows Timber, and today supplies machined softwood and specialist products to independent timber and builders’ merchants and to wood-using industries, across an area from Bournemouth, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire to Dover in the east, including the major construction market within the M25 area. The Regional Sales Manager for London & the South East is John Wright.
