Snows Timber Management Team

Snows Timber is one of the top four timber companies in Britain, providing wholesale wood products to builders’ merchants, timber merchants, garden building and shed manufacturers, and to the joinery manufacturing and constructions sectors. 

An 'Investors in People' employer, we employ over 200 people.

Ian joined Snows in April 2017 having previously held the position of Operations Director with Bradfords Building Supplies. Ian’s earlier career saw him working within the Travis Perkins Group where he was MD of TP Midlands, MD PTS & MD Group Trade Parks & Managed Services.

Mark has spent over 30 years in the timber industry and joined Snows as sales director in May 2012 before becoming Commercial Director in 2015

Bob Kirkland joined us in June 2017 as Operations Director. Bob has worked in an Area Director and Special Projects role for St Gobain (Jewson), Regional Director and Management for Travis Perkins and Management in Wolseley.

Andy started in the Timber Industry in 1984, He joined Snows Timber in 2002 and had a number of roles before being appointed Sales Director in May 2016. He previously worked for Montague L Meyer and Hunter Timber.

Scott became Financial Director in 1996 when Snows purchased their Andover site from Invensys PLC. He has been working in the Timber trade since 1978.

Founded in the late 1800’s as Snows Timber in Glastonbury. In the few years prior it worked as a coal and wood merchant.
